In a bid to raise HIV awareness this World AIDS Day (December 1st), one of our partners Durex has launched their new global social media campaign that will directly benefit Staying Alive Foundation grantees.  

It’s called 1share1condom and encourages the public to simply share a message about HIV using the Twitter hash tag #1share1condom or share Durex World Aids Day images via Facebook, and a condom is pledged on behalf of every person who does so. 

Symbolically aiming to reach 2.5million shares to represent the number of people newly infected with HIV last year, Durex has committed to donate at least 600 thousand of those condoms to SAF grantees in a bid to help us reach our goal of a HIV-free generation. 

So how do you get involved? Simply share #1share1condom via your Twitter and Facebook accounts and you’ll directly help the Staying Alive Foundation grantees distribute much need condoms all over the world.
