WE GOT IT ON WITH BJORN BORG, ALL IN THE NAME OF HIV PREVENTION OF COURSE
Last night saw the star-studded launch of our ‘Get It On’ launch alongside Swedish underwear giant Björn Borg to help raise awareness and combat the spread of HIV in young people around the world.
The evening featured an amazing live performance from the newly reformed Mutya Keisha Siobhan of Sugababes fame, who played to some of the industry’s finest at the Truman Brewery in the heart of East London. The night also incorporated a fashion show presenting the Björn Borg Spring/Summer 2014 range, which climaxed with a zip wire stunt which saw our newly crowned MTV Staying Alive Foundation Ambassador Becca Dudley skilfully glide down from the ceiling to the stage wearing a limited edition unisex tandem ‘Get It On’ underwear piece for two.
Georgia Arnold, Executive Director, MTV Staying Alive Foundation, said, “We are delighted to partner with Bjorn Bjorg to launch the Get It On range to help raise awareness of this hugely worthwhile cause. We hope last night’s fantastic event will inspire everyone to join the fight against HIV, and wear their Get It On underwear with pride to support a raft of essential on-the-ground projects across the UK and Europe to eventually help combat the disease once and for all.”
One Euro per sale of the standard BJÖRN BORG Get it On range, and 100% of the proceeds of the tandem piece, will be donated to the MTV Staying Alive Foundation to help in the fight against HIV.
Our celebrity DJs Severino, Jodie Harsh and MTV UK’s very own Laura Whitmore who played to the buzzing crowd which included the likes of Indie Pop band The Vamps, as well as The Loveable Rogues and Ashley Roberts, who were all excited to get it on with us.
The BJÖRN BORG Get it On special edition pants feature a seductive kamasutra print and are available in two colourways through select retailers. The BJÖRN BORG Get it On tandem pant is sold through the Björn Borg webshop and Björn Borg concept stores.
