2015 is going to be big! Here’s what you can expect from the MTV Staying Alive Foundation over the next 12 months…

This year, we’re funding 51 youth-led projects around the world that fight HIV. We’re helping young leaders to reach thousands of young people with HIV messaging, test thousands of young people for HIV, distribute bucket loads of condoms, and train peer educators.

We’re busy organising “FOUND”, MTV Staying Alive’s glitzy fundraising gala where we’ll be showcasing our amazing work and raising money to support global HIV prevention work.

Another year, another MTV RE:DEFINE charity art exhibition and auction in Dallas, Texas. Once again, art created by established and emerging talent will be auctioned with the proceeds being donated to the MTV Staying Alive Foundation.

2015 is going to be sweet for MTV Shuga, our award-winning sex and relationships drama and multimedia campaign. The 4th season of MTV Shuga will premiere in Nigeria in June, 2015, which will see the return of some familiar faces, and some new ones!

As if that wasn’t enough, we’re also launching On Tour with MTV Shuga, in partnership with The Elton John AIDS Foundation and UNICEF, a campaign to get young Nigerians to speak up about HIV and get tested. The campaign will be huge and will include a special one-off show, music festivals, MTV Shuga auditions, and a chance to meet the MTV Shuga cast.

As always, we’ll also be bringing you the freshest perspectives on sexual and reproductive health, relationships, and HIV.
