    Georgia Arnold
    Georgia is the Foundation's Executive Director, and is responsible for leading the entire team and driving all elements of the Foundation's operations, including content production, grant giving, fundraising and partnerships. She is also Senior Vice President of Social Responsibility for MTV Networks International, where she develops and implements social initiatives across MTV's broad range of channels.

    Sara’s been working with the MTV Staying Alive Foundation since 2003. She’s responsible for our grant-giving programme, overseeing everything from selecting grantees to managing and fulfilling our grants. She also works closely on all the legal, financial and governance aspects of the Foundation.

    Lucy Cargill
    Lucy is responsible for overseeing all income generation for the Foundation. Lucy has been working in the third sector for eight years now – her previous role was with a media organisation, managing the fundraising for their in-house charity. It’s her job to lead the fundraising team and drive all revenue streams from partnerships and major donors to public fundraising and events.

    Kay Hetherington
    Kay focuses on managing and expanding our UK income streams across partnerships, corporate, major donors, events, community and digital fundraising. As well as account managing our existing partners, she’s also responsible for identifying new opportunities for innovative and creative collaboration. Before joining MTV Staying Alive she worked for a number of different charities including Macmillan Cancer Support and Scope.

    Alistair Chase
    Alistair is responsible for raising income from charitable trusts and foundations, to support MTV Staying Alive Foundation’s content production and grant-giving programmes. Since 2007, he has worked in fundraising for a range of charities and higher education institutes, including Street Child, MicroLoan Foundation, and the University of Roehampton.

    Richard Warburton
    Richard is MTV Shuga's Director of Content and is ultimately responsible for the delivery of all aspects of the multi award winning campaign. He has 14 years experience working on award winning HIV/AIDS programming, events and training for the Staying Alive Foundation, UNAIDS and others. Richard also brings an excellent network of contacts from the continents creative communities.

    Esther Kissiedu
    Esther joined the team in 2013, from the FT, she currently manages all social media and digital elements for the MTV Shuga campaign. Producing a content strategy that elevates the core campaign messages across all social platforms and the Shuga website.

    Yvonne’s 13-year marketing and sales background covers hospitality, media and entertainment. She is responsible for seeking out partnerships and opportunities that facilitate the overall marketing of MTV Shuga Down South

    Chris is the Project Manager for MTV Shuga, working closely with the team to oversee the implementation of the campaign. With over eight years of working on media campaigns and TV production across Africa he is responsible for the planning and delivery of campaign elements in a timely manner and on budget.

    Anita Aiyudu
    Anita is the Marketing and Partnerships Manager for MTV Shuga Nigeria. With over 6 years’ experience in PR, corporate branding and communication, she is responsible for sealing partnerships on behalf of MTV Shuga and supervising overall marketing campaigns in Nigeria.

    Akriti is the Marketing and Partnerships Manager for MTV Nishedh, India. With over 4 years’ of branding, content creation, sales and media marketing experience, she is responsible for managing partnerships on behalf of MTV SAF and supervising overall marketing campaigns in India.

    Ben Plumley
    Ben Plumley is a California-based, global health advocate and strategist. He is the host of A Shot In The Arm, a weekly global health and human rights podcast. He is also the founder of Hunuvat, a policy and advocacy agency that promotes greater access for biomedical innovations for all people, regardless of geography, gender, identity or ability to pay. Previously, he was the CEO of the Global Health Technical Assistance and Policy Think Tank, Pangaea. As well as non-profits, he has extensive public and private sector experience, as Director of the Executive Office at UNAIDS, and the founding Executive Director of the Global Business Coalition on HIV/AIDS. He has worked with HIV prevention, testing and treatment programs all over the world, including Zimbabwe, South Africa, the Ukraine, Vietnam and China. Ben also has wide Board experience, including the California Prevention Education Project in Oakland, The San Francisco Community Health Center, AIDS Care China and from 2010 to 2017, Board Member of the International Treatment Preparedness Coalition. Born in Britain, Ben graduated from Churchill College, Cambridge University

    Henry Luyombya
    Born in Uganda, Henry is a passionate HIV community activist with a long history of front-line service and research experiences with young people, immigrants and refugees living with HIV. He is a life-long learner, mentor and mentee through his Research Coordinator position at the AIDS Committee of Toronto (ACT) and Committee for Accessible AIDS Treatment (CAAT) in Ontario, Canada. His research initiatives are geared towards HIV-stigma reduction. He loves music and soccer (Arsenal in England).

    Sara Cerrell
    Founder and Managing Director of Global Change Network, Sara brings two decades of political, private sector and nonprofit experience to her clients. She has created strategies, developed partnerships and managed campaigns for multinational organizations and companies. Sara’s career began in The White House as an aide to First Lady Hillary Clinton, working across several initiatives from health care to women’s rights to children’s issues. Sara serves on the boards of the US-UK Fulbright Commission, 1000 Days, Global Impact UK, and is a founding member of ICRW Circle of Ambassadors UK.

    James Chau is a news anchor, UN Goodwill Ambassador, and host of The China Current with James Chau.He studied piano at the Royal Academy of Music and graduated from Cambridge University. He has completed a non-degree course at the Harvard Kennedy School on global leadership and public policy. At present Chau is Editor-at-Large of the China-United States Exchange Foundation, and in this capacity he presents The China Current with James Chau, a digital storytelling experience about our shared global future. Previously, he guest presented Horizons, the award-winning show on BBC World News, and was a main anchor on China Central Television with 80 million viewers.

    Swati Dlamini is the grand-daughter of Nelson Mandela and Winnie Madikizela-Mandela, and the daughter of Prince Thumbumuzi Dlamini and Princess Zenani Mandela. She has spent much of her adult life keeping the name and works of her grandfather alive, involved in charities focused on job creation and equality in the workplace.

    John Levene
    John Levene is a Managing Director in the Securities division of Goldman Sachs, New York. He’s an active participant in Goldman Sachs Gives, a donor advised fund for senior employees. John has been an active fund raiser for the Foundation leveraging his relationships within the finance sector. He’s taken a particularly keen interest in the Foundation’s social enterprise program, helping to develop its core mission and visiting grantees in Rwanda and Uganda.

    David Lynn has been President and Chief Executive Officer of Viacom International Media Networks (VIMN) since January 2017, giving him management oversight of all of Viacom's media networks and related businesses outside the U.S. As CEO, Lynn has been responsible for a range of strategic growth initiatives including the launch of Viacom International Studios and a significant increase in VIMN’s digital revenues thanks to its first multi-territory mobile distribution deal with Telefonica and the launch of the Paramount+ amongst other innovations. Lynn is a member of Viacom’s Global Inclusion Advisory Committee and has championed the company’s diversity strategy in the UK with Channel 5 re-joining the Creative Diversity Network.

    Mallah is an SRHR activist and founder of Ndolo360, a mobile app designed to provide open, honest and judgement-free sexuality education and services to adolescents and young people across Cameroon and sub Saharan Africa. Over the years she has designed and led youth-friendly Sexual and Reproductive Health programs in Cameroon and around the world which earned her an award from Queen Elizabeth in 2015. Mallah is also a 2013 Women Deliver Young Leader and recently led the Youth Engagement department at the SheDecides Support Unit in London.

    Born and brought up in Surrey with a family based in Nakuru, Kenya. He was educated at Harrow School before starting Medical School at Guys and St Thomas’s Hospital where he concurrently completed a bachelors in Philosophy. He qualified as a Doctor and practiced medicine and Psychiatry across a number of South East and London hospitals before joining Mckinsey and Company, advising governments, large corporations, and financial institutions on strategy and policy, focusing, in particular, on healthcare and digital technology.In 2010 he started his own digital health company which has grown to be the UK’s largest institutionally backed provider of virtual healthcare services covering millions of private and NHS patients in the UK as well as serving patients in over 100 different countries. Bayju is also a local school Governor and a proud father of two young children.

    As the Vice President of Viacom International Media Networks Africa (VIMN Africa) BET, Youth & Music portfolio, Monde Twala is responsible for driving the development and growth of powerhouse music, youth and entertainment brands BET, MTV, MTV Base and VH1, across the African continent. Since joining Viacom, he has been part of the team that developed and spearheaded the iconic MTV Africa Music Awards and brought current topics to the forefront by driving conversations with youth through MTV Base Meets. He holds a WBS Map Advanced Management Degree from Wits Business School in South Africa and has earned credits in Marketing, Business Management, Consumer & Buyer Behaviour, and Economics.

    Dr Purnima Mane
    Dr Purnima Mane is an internationally recognised expert of gender, health and development. She previously served as President & CEO of Pathfinder which develops ground-breaking programs on sexual and reproductive health in 20 countries and leads global advocacy on SRHR policies. Prior to that, she was UN Assistant-Secretary-General and Deputy Executive Director, UNFPA and also held senior leadership positions at UNAIDS, the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria, the Population Council and the World Health Organization She was an Associate Professor at the Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai and holds a doctoral degree from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences in Mumbai, India in women's studies.

    Sir. Nick Partridge
    Sir Nick joined the Terrence Higgins Trust as its first member of staff in 1985 and stepped down as its Chief Executive at the end of 2013. During that time, the Terrence Higgins Trust grew to become the largest community-based HIV and sexual health organisation in the UK. In 2013, THT directly supported over 100,000 people, employed 350 staff and mobilised more than 15,000 members. For over 30 years, Sir Nick has been a high-profile media commentator on HIV prevention, testing and treatment, as well as campaigning for greater public support for people living with HIV and confronting the stigma and discrimination so many still face. Sir Nick is currently Chair of the Clinical Priorities Advisory Group for NHS England, Deputy Chair of the UK Clinical Research Collaboration and a volunteer at his local Citizens Advice Bureau in Peckham.

    Stephanie Sandows
    Stephanie is a motivational speaker, actor, presenter, casting director and social linguist. She completed her Honors in Social linguistics in 2012, after which she freelanced as a casting assistant. She was promoted to Casting director at one of South Africa's most popular TV soaps and has casted for shows including SABC's "Rented family", Kyknet's "Spoor" and the telenovela "Hope". In 2016, she got her first lead role on “MTV Shuga”. Since acting in MTV Shuga, Stephanie has become a leading ambassador and advocate for MTV Shuga’s work, attending MTV Shuga screenings and premieres, and speaking on their behalf, including being part of MTV Shuga’s Plenary Presentations at the International AIDS Conference, Amsterdam 2018, and Women Deliver, Vancouver 2019. She is a founding member of the NPO- The Ndlovu foundation which runs a number of community projects including a Saturday school, aimed at providing extra lessons in English and Mathematics.
